BIO

In late 2019, a quote by the renowned motivational speaker, Brian Tracy, struck a chord with me: "If you do not love your job then get out of it like you would get out of a burning house." At that time, I found myself in the role of a Credit Analyst, a position that left me unfulfilled and distant from my academic background. I held a degree in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley, yet my work had no connection to my field of study. During this period, I chanced upon a Reddit post that narrated the transformative journey of an individual who had self-taught coding within a span of six months. This ignited a curiosity within me about the world of coding, leading me to experiment with computer programming in my free time. Before long, my interest in code outweighed the security of my then-current job. I made the decision to leave my position and dedicated myself fully to learning how to code. My academic foundation in mathematics naturally gravitated me towards the problem-solving aspects of software engineering. The constant challenges, the thrill of overcoming complex problems, and the ceaseless learning opportunities became sources of immense satisfaction. In the subsequent period, I devoted myself to understanding the intricacies of Computer Science Data Structures & Algorithms and Systems Design. I also delved into various web technologies, enhancing my skills and knowledge in the tech sphere. Today, I stand ready to apply these learnings and contribute significantly to potential roles in the field.
